Wednesday Update

Delaney slept well last night, we were happy to see her sleep a little longer too. All though she was up just before 5am. Mommy and Daddy slept with one eye open as always. We have gotten into a bit of a routine at home for a change, it is very nice and comforting. Mommy flushed Delaney's Broviac this morning and it worked great. Today Delaney took more frequent naps, she is getting tired quicker because her blood counts are low, but she still has a good source if energy. Today was a low key day, we did our best to keep Delaney hydrated, and fed, she actually had 1 chicken nugget, and some chocolate pudding. Delaney is doing a great job wearing her eye patch for a few hours a day, and she wears her foot braces also while she naps. We are looking forward to a couple of uneventful, fun days at home with the family for Delaney. Delaney was asleep before 7pm, we gave her her nightly injection, she is resting well, her body is working hard to recover. We love her so much, she is our fierce fighter.
